Construction of Duran distribution substation at 138kV/24kV, in Viera, Melbourne, approximately 10 minutes west of I-95. This substation is part of an FPL scheme and includes two power transformers, two high-side switchers, two-line switchers at 138kV, two low-side switchers, three feeders, an inspection breaker, one bus tie, an RTU, AC and DC systems, an LMS, three panels, a relay rack, primary and secondary station communication, as well as a mobile capacitor bank at 24kV.

Coree, Inc. is involved in the Florida Power and Light (FPL) program, which includes auditing of in-service substations to ensure compliance with FPL standards. The company assists in establishing and operating the primary communication systems of the substations, utilizing either copper (T1) or fiber optic connections.

FPL Poinsett substation replacement of two 230kV line panels, scheme upgrade to SEL411L, transfer trip panel upgrade, addition of JemStar revenue meters for Winter Spring (DEF) 230kV Line. Test of new CT/VT.

FPL McMeekin installation of reactive meter monitoring (SEL-735 &, Vizimax AMU), modulators and new CT/VT.

Seminoles and Clay Electric corporation, revenue metering and SCADA communication upgrade, including the S&E work.

Testing and commissioning at Buckingham and Gladiolus, 138kV Line wave trap. Replacement of the line motor operator, adjustment of settings, testing, and modification of the carrier frequency followed by testing.

FPL Capri Substation installation of two new feeder brakers and voltage regulators of 24kV nominal.

Brevard’s landfills upgrade of generator trips to isolate the generation from the power line, update of the line breaker failure scheme, line panel upgrade and meter replacement.
